Early Registration Numbers Exceed Expectations for Expo! Expo! 2010
Initial Figures Indicate Strong Show Organizer Turnout
DALLAS, 6 October 2010 - Today, the International Association of Exhibitions and EventsTM (IAEE) reports that despite a sputtering global economy, early registration numbers for Expo! Expo! IAEE's Annual Meeting & Exhibition have exceeded expectations - most notably with a 12 percent increase in the total number of exhibition organizers registered to attend - its key audience - compared to this time last year. Both the association show organizer and public show organizer categories are heavy contributors to this increase with a 38 percent and 63 percent increase respectively over this time in 2009.
IAEE President Steven Hacker, CAE says, "The hard numbers speak for themselves, and by all indications, Expo! Expo! will host the key decision makers and senior executives who will attend and focus on making the consequential business deals which will shape the industry in 2011."
Eager to meet this exhibition organizer contingent are the nearly 260 exhibitors who have reserved space on the Expo! Expo! show floor which will be open on Wednesday, 8 December 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and is 97 percent reserved already. IAEE Director of Exhibitions Julie Anderson, CAE, CEM says, "Expo! Expo will give exhibitors face-to-face access to potential worldwide customers from the association, corporate, independent and consumer exhibitions and events markets - all under one roof."
Registration for Expo! Expo! IAEE's is now open for the event which takes place 7-9 December 2010 in New Orleans.
